Investments for the future: sustainability recognition for Aurubis Bulgaria

"Aurubis Bulgaria” strengthens its commitment to the cultural development of the Srednogorie region in 2025. The company continues its active support for community centers, amateur groups and cultural initiatives in the municipalities of Pirdop, Zlatitsa and Anton.

Since the beginning of 2025, Aurubis Bulgaria has provided BGN 50 000 for cultural activities in the municipality of Zlatitsa, including support for amateur groups and local cultural events. In 2024, investments in cultural life in the municipality exceeded 115 000 BGN.

A total of BGN 100,000 was donated for the activities of the Community Centre “Progress - 1869”, Pirdop, and the Community Centre “Svetlina - 1910”, Dusantsi for 2024 and 2025. The funding ensures the participation of ensembles from the region in festivals in the country and abroad, as well as the modernization of the community centre facilities. In Dushantsi, donations from the company have been used to purchase air conditioners, computer equipment and equipment necessary for the work of the cultural centre and the activities of local amateur artists.

The company provides a targeted budget for the cultural centers in Pirdop, Zlatitsa, Dusantsi, Petrich, Tsarkvishte and Karlievo, and encourages their active role in preserving traditions, their creative performances and enriching the cultural life in the region.
